What to know about Instagram transcripts

Instagram rarely shares captions for Reels, so your Instagram transcript is made from the audio. Speech recognition writes down what is said and gives every line its time, which works even when the creator added no captions or burned them into the picture.
Music, sound effects and voices over loud tracks are harder to transcribe. If a Reel is mostly music with a few words, expect a short transcript.
