Scripts from TikToks in seconds
Captions when TikTok has them
If the video carries captions, we use them; otherwise the audio is transcribed.
Script-ready text
Copy the whole script in one click to study a hook or write your own version.
Timestamps where they are real
Captions and audio transcripts keep their timing. Text without real timing is never turned into subtitle files.
Failed links are free
Private, deleted or region-locked videos cannot be opened, and you are not charged for them.
Edit and keep the original
Corrections are saved as a new version next to the original transcript.
Export captions
Download SRT or VTT to add captions to a re-edited video.
How a TikTok transcript is made
Captions first, then the audio
Many TikToks already carry captions, added by the creator or generated by TikTok. If the video has them, your TikTok transcript is built from those captions, which is quick and keeps the creator’s wording. If it doesn’t, the audio is transcribed with speech recognition, and every line still gets its real timestamp.
If you only need the words, tick Text only. A short clip may then come back as text without timestamps: you can copy it or save it as TXT, but it is never turned into subtitles.
Study the hook, write your own script
Creators read a TikTok transcript to see how a video is built: the first line that stops the scroll, how fast the points come and where the call to action lands. Copy the whole script in one click and set it next to your own draft.
Use other people’s scripts for study and inspiration, not to repost their words as your own.
Captions for your own edits
If you re-edit your own TikTok in CapCut or Premiere, download the transcript as SRT and import it as captions. The timing comes from the original video, so check it after you cut clips or change their speed.
Links that work
Copy the link from the Share menu in the app or from the address bar on tiktok.com. Public videos work. Private, deleted and region-locked videos can’t be opened, and you are not charged when that happens. On-screen text that is never spoken is not part of the transcript.
TikTok transcript questions
How do I get the transcript of a TikTok?
Copy the video link from the TikTok app or website, paste it above and confirm. The script appears with timestamps.
Can I transcribe private TikToks?
No. Only public videos can be opened, and nothing is charged when a video cannot be read.
Does it include on-screen text?
No. The transcript covers what is spoken, plus captions the creator added to the video when TikTok provides them.
Can I export TikTok captions as SRT?
Yes, when the transcript has real timing. Text-only results can be downloaded as TXT or Markdown.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. A new account with a personal email address gets 10 free minutes once.
Can I label speakers in a TikTok?
Yes. Tick Label speakers before you start. It helps with duets, interviews and street questions.
How long does a TikTok transcript take?
Usually under a minute when the video has captions, and a few minutes when its audio has to be transcribed.
