How Video Transcript counts minutes
Rounded up per file
Each file or link uses its length in minutes, rounded up: a 30-second clip is 1 minute and 61 seconds is 2.
Same rate for every source
Uploads, links and videos with captions all draw from the same pool of minutes.
Confirmed before it runs
You see the minutes before a job starts. They are reserved, then charged when the transcript is ready.
Failed jobs are free
If a job fails, every reserved minute goes back to your balance.
Which plan fits you
Starter
For occasional transcripts: a few videos or recordings a week, up to two hours each. 300 minutes a month is about five one-hour recordings, or dozens of short clips.
Pro
For regular work: weekly podcasts, lectures or a steady stream of social videos. 900 minutes a month, files up to three hours long, at a lower price per minute than Starter.
Studio
For heavy users who transcribe every day. 1,800 minutes a month and files up to four hours long, at about the same price per minute as Pro.
Every plan includes the transcript editor, versions, speaker labels and TXT, Markdown, SRT and VTT exports. The free subtitle tools stay free on every plan, and without an account.
