from the north and I'm from the south and today we're going to show you a very good Mardi Gras meal that wolves it's really fantastic and it's called chicken and sausage jambalaya Todd I can't stay because i have a fundraiser oh yeah it's for a really good cause okay but would you promise me you say I promise okay all right then look at least I'll be right back sobbing back ladies welcome back y'all we're going to start out with a fourth a cup of margarine or butter in a medium medium to high heat just use your judgment and let that melt and then we're going to salt ate all this good stuff that goes in this and we're going to start out with the salary two thirds of a cup of celery and a half a cup of onion and a half a cup of bell pepper and we're going to go ahead and saute this little good and we'll be right back welcome back y'all okay now we have our our bell pepper celery and onion sauce sauteed so beautifully we're going to take two cans of diced tomatoes and we're going to add to this and we're going to take three cups of chicken broth and add to it one in the third cups of rice use 8 2 teaspoons of time

or basal you use facebook i'm using time and put that in and 1 teaspoon of garlic put that in and a half a teaspoon of pepper and we're going to use a teaspoon of hot sauce you have it really hotting on or little hot I like a little life into babies and we're going to bring all this to a boil and we're going to after we bring it to boil going to cover it so I'm going to stir it up and we're going to bring it to a boil and we'll be right back okay welcome back y'all I've been simmering this ricin in the tomatoes and the other ingredients probably for about 15 minutes now all together I brought it to a boil and then I turn to demo simmer and now it's simmering and I'm going to go ahead and add by sausage to it right because the rice is not quite done yet and I'm going to add the chicken to it and I'm going to stir it up and then I'm going to put the lid back on it and let it simmer in with the rice and the tomatoes and the other ingredients until the rice is done which probably about 30 more minutes 20-30 minutes so we'll see in in a minute we'll see in 20 minutes alright welcome back y'all I put my meat in here my sausage on my chicken and I've

simmered it down and the rice is done now and so everything's cooked through all my spices and all my onions and bell peppers and everything so now we're going to scoop it up and it's going to be delicious very solid very hearty healthy type meal just really smells good smells so flavorful and there we go and this is the delicious end result to our chicken and sausage jambalaya tada and guess what next time we'll make n shrimp at a bay join us okay and this is the end result to our chicken and sausage jambalaya I wanted to do it and this is our end result to our shrimp and on
